Monday, Monday

So, being how I'm priviledged enough to be able to be in the workforce, I am also priviledged enough to experience Mondays. Thank goodness it only happens occasionally, but still, they are not fun.

I'll give you just ONE little example of the fun I'm having today...

On Monday thru Thursday I work from 7:305:30, and Fridays it's 8:00-12:00. Well, this morning I had all sorts of fun little setbacks at home while I was attempting to get ready for work. No big deal, I'm used to it. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. It happens. Often. I can deal with it. So, as is usual for me, I'm running late. I head off to work and luckily I got mostly all green lights. Well, it apparently wasn't enough of the extra little shove I needed, because I ended up getting here at 7:31. No big deal one might think.... Well, today, they would be wrong. The managing partner was at my desk, and she threw a fit! After she chewed me a new one for being ONE MINUTE LATE, then she stormed off to her office yelling the whole way. This is just an example of the things yet to come. By lunch a lot of crummy things happened, but nothing I want to spend my whole afternoon reliving here. Point is, it's definitely a MONDAY!!!

In all fairness, when I got back from lunch things weren't as crummy (I was 4 minutes EARLY this time). And, things have kinda settled down a little. It's still not the best day, but at least it hasn't gotten worse.
