Valentine's Day Craftiness

Like most of my posts, this one is a little late, but I still wanted to post about it. This year for Valentine's Day, I wanted to actually do something for my husband that was more than a dinner out and a card. If you don't know my husband, you don't know that he's a HUGE sweetheart. He calls me Princess and spoils me and is very romantic and thoughtful. He always does something really sweet and thoughtful for special occasions (birthday, Valentine's, anniversary, etc.). So, this year, while browsing through the Dollar Store Crafts blog, I got an idea to make something for him I was sure I could actually do START to FINISH!! And I was right!!!

I was inspired specifically by this post. Mine turned out just a tiny bit different, but I like it. Here's what I ended up with.

I decided not to post pictures of all of the pages, but wanted to give you an idea of what I did.

It may seem kinda cheesy, but I wanted to actually "make" something, and wanted him to have something that he would actually remember. Plus, it's something he can slip in his laptop bag and read if he's having a bad day or just wants a reminder of just how great I think he is!
