I'm A Marked Woman...

I decided to get a tattoo, so that's what I did last Friday (the 19th). And for those of my friends and family who just GASPED at that sentence...I love ya, but get over it. It wasn't a spur of the moment thing, and no, it's no one's FAULT, and nobody deserves and BLAME. Nobody influenced me to get it. It was something I wanted, so I informed Jordan that's what I was doing. END OF STORY.

I like it, and if you don't, feel free to stew to yourself, feel utterly disappointed and hurt (I know some of you will), spout off to your spouse, tell your kids I'm a HORRIBLE person and influence, whatever you need to do, so long as YOU DON'T TELL ME. I don't need the lecture, nor do I want it. I'm excited about it and just wanted to share. Here are some pics (it's a bee with a scorpio sign).

What's behind it--the bee with the scorpian sign? I'm guessing your a scorpian; I'm a taurus but what is a scorpian? Am I making sense? Scorpian means _________?

Also why a bee? Is there a side story to that? Also there's a little "m" thing at the end of the bee, what does that stand for?

Okay with my questions out of the way, I'll comment on your post. 1) I did gasp, sorry. From your title, I scrolled down to see the pics and thought, "Really, a tattoo?" Now that I'm over the shock, it's not a big deal to me, but lol you know me well and that makes me laugh. 2) I hope no one would blame anyone. I don't see anyone pinning you to the chair or handcoffing your wrists. Plus, blame, what??? What's there to blame? I'm confused about that, maybe that one wasn't for me; I'm hoping not. 3) I would never tell my kid that you're horrible. If getting a tattoo means you're horrible, I'd have to rule out other friends, cousins, ward members, etc. I'm still learning about judgement, but I HAVE learned it's wrong, hurtful, unfair, not Christ like, and usually when you judge someone it comes back to bite you instead of making you look better. Anyway, I'm glad you're posting again. I missed you like crazy and was wondering where you were. So don't worry about me; I love you and always will! Hope to see you soon if we have class reunion next summer???? Have you heard anything about that?

That's funny that you gasped...I'm sure you're not the only one who did...that is, if people really are still checking to see if I write anything on here anymore....

Anyhoo, yeah, there's significance in the bee, but that's a personal thing for me. :) And the scorpio, well, I'm a scorpio (since my birthday is on November 17th). The sign of the scorpio is the little M with a tail thing...

As far as blame goes, No, it was not directed at you, and it seems to me that you've got a pretty good handle on the judgement thing. I totally believe everything you said about judgement, but it IS still hard not to judge. I think being conscious about it is the first step, and keeping those negative or hurtful comments internally is the next step!

I'm also glad to know that you'll love me no matter what...sometimes you kinda wonder about people... Some people get really caught up in what you SHOULD be doing, and while they still love you unconditionally, they don't actually make you FEEL like they do. Doesn't mean I can't still love THEM unconditionally though.

Congrats, I guess! I won't tell you what Ryan said... because you said "so as long as YOU DON'T TELL ME"

Okay now you've just pique my interest on the whole bee thing, but I also respect privacy--good grief--of all people I should know about that. Jeremy and I didn't even tell half our friends about our adoption until we had little Boston in our arms, so I totally get it. I didn't know about the "m" being the scorpian sign thing--good to know. :)
Have a great day.

Wow that looks pretty cool. It looks like it hurt like heck though, I have thought about getting a tatoo, but I can't handle the thought of how bad it would hurt...LOL, well congrats!!
