My Family
I realized that there are actually some people out there that I have yet to inundate with photos of my 'family.' This is for your benefit.

Zach Seat Photography
On February 21st my work (Gray, Blodgett & Company, PLLC) had a photographer come in and photograph staff members so we could update the company webpage. Zach Seat did a wonderful job with the photos, and I thought I would share the 3 he sent of me. (For more info about my work, visit the website here.)

Republican Fisherman
A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."
The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.”
She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."
"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"
"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."
The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."
"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"
"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it's my fault!!”
Thanks Todd for the funny joke!

Crazy Weather
So, in case you're not up to speed on Oklahoma's weather, this past Tuesday (2/19) we had a very beautiful, 65 degree high, sunny, spring day. Wednesday? Well, the temperature when I left work was a toasty 36 degrees. Today? It's cold, foggy, and it's doing a rain-drizzle-slush thing off and on. I just wish it would either stay winter or turn to spring. Just some consistency would be nice...

I've Been Tagged!
10 Years Ago... I was 17 and a junior in high school. I had really short hair, and no boyfriend. I'm sure I had all those 'teenage' problems, but I can't recall them. I was happier because I didn't have to worry about bills. I had also never REALLY been in love.
Things on todays "to-do" list... Go to work, Enjoy Valentine's Day with my sweetie, go to bed.
I enjoy... Cuddling with my hubby; cuddling with my Jack-Jack; cross-stitching; crocheting; picnicing; being at the lake; walking my dogs; loving on my nieces and nephews; and too much more to list.
What would I do if I were a billionaire? Pay off debts; buy a second car; buy a house; help get my family 'comfortable'; hire a personal trainer to get my butt in shape; go back to school; and live happily ever after.
5 Jobs I've had... Road Construction Flagger, County Land Use Planner, Crappy Receptionist, Dentist Office Janitor, Temporary Employee.
5 things people may/may not know about me: Im afraid of someone breaking into my house/car and killing/hurting me; I'm afraid of losing a loved one; I'm afraid of needing a hysterectomy before I get the chance to have children; I would love to be able to play the piano; I would love to be able to speak another language; I don't want to be a Crappy Receptionist my whole life; I miss my nieces and nephews (and all the rest of my family too); I want to travel to different countries and continents; and so much MORE!!!

Are YOU Reading This???
Just curious who's actually reading... If I know that a lot of people read it, and go here to see 'what's up' with me, the more I'd be inclined to blog more often about what actually is going on. Post a comment and let me know who IS reading...
